by Ricky Calderon, ABS-CBN News.com, November 13, 2001
Megastar Sharon Cuneta's music video of "Where's the Good in
Goodbye" was launched on ABS-CBN's ASAPlast Sunday. The song is
the carrier single of Sharon's new album under BMG Records Pilipinas,
All I Ever Want, which features 11 original compositions with only one
entry in Pilipino. Sharon collaborated with international pianist Jim
Brickman on the song. He also wrote "In Your Eyes," Sharon's duet with
Andy Lau.
Sharon also works with
Ryan Cayabyab, who composed and produced seven songs, including the
album's title track. The album, which is already out in the market, is
Sharon's first regional album. The featured songs include "My Heart Beats
for You," "Love is On," "My Disguise," "Are You That Someone," "The Same
Sad Song," "If Ever," "You're the Only One" and "Nanabik Ako Sa
Iyo."
All I Ever
Want is available in CD and cassette
formats. The video for "Where's the Good in Goodbye" was conceptualized
and directed by Louie Ignacio.
Also
last Sunday night, we caught the special preview of the trailer of
Sharon's reunion movie with Robin Padilla, Viva Films' Pagdating ng Panahon,
on IBC. Judging from the trailer, we feel Sharon and Robin have a winner
in their latest collaboration. It has the right mix of the elements
guaranteed to titillate the fancy of their fans. Sharon also gets to sing
the title song, originally made hugely famous by Aiza Seguerra, and was
used for the trailer.
