Dear Everyone,
Hello!!! I hope this finds you all doing well.
I've been working non-stop on my new movie for Viva Films.
By now I guess most of you know that I am working with
Richard Gomez again after three years (our last movie
together, "MINSAN MINAHAL KITA", showed in theaters here in
Manila in February of 2000). The movie is entitled "WALANG
KAPALIT", and is being directed by Joel Lamangan (my
director in "NGAYON AT KAILANMAN", "KAPANTAY AY LANGIT",
and my last movie, "MAGKAPATID"). It is about an estranged
married couple and their two children. I hope you all look
forward to it, as it promises to be a feel-good love story
also about a family! I have no idea yet as to when it will
be shown in theaters, but it'll be around the middle of
this year.
A few days ago, I finally signed a contract with Star
Cinema (the same outfit that brought us all "MADRASTA" and
"MINSAN MINAHAL KITA") for my FIRST EVER MOVIE WITH AGA
MUHLACH!!! It will be a story about a friendship that has
spanned fifteen years, and of course, again, it'll be a
love story. This will be directed by Jose Javier Reyes
(who also directed "NANG INIWAN MO AKO"), and of course I
am so excited! Problem (for me) is, I will start filming
it next month, which means that I will be filming my two
new films almost at the same time. And that means I will
have very little sleep and a little less time with the
family. But it'll only be for a few months. Believe it or
not, as the movie with Richard wraps up and my filming
with Aga is ongoing, I will start on another (!) movie. I
will tell you all about it when we're set! Unbelievable.
I've never done this before --- work on three movies whose
schedules are overlapping! But you see, this is because I
hope to take a long vacation after these three movies,
hopefully by the middle of the year, and I hope you will
again join me and my family in praying for another baby
(yes, I want another one soon!). Or two. Or three. Heck,
even 6. Hahaha!!!
Thank you all for always checking in, and as I write this
we are setting aside some new stuff which will be sent to
my dear webmaster on Monday, so you can look forward to
lots of updates!
KC is turning eighteen on April 7th. Can you believe it?
I am so proud of her but truly can't believe how she has
grown, and how fast!!!
My Frankie is now two years and two months old, and is such
a performer. She's funny and sooooooo talkative! Loves to
sing and dance, and is very happy. Very friendly child.
Am so blessed to have my kids. They are absolutely
charming and good and beautiful.
Take good care, everyone! I'll write again as soon as my
schedule allows it. Meantime, I'd appreciate prayers as
well for my health. It is what suffers the most when I am
hectic!
