The Megastar The Singer The Actress The Multi-Media Star The Woman Articles
"My Mom loved music and taught me to love it, too. But the driving force behind my pushing myself constantly to work hard and give my best was my Dad. I loved watching his face light up whenever he had an 'I'm proud of my daughter' moment! The audience, too. My fans. They continue to make it all worthwhile for me."

The Mega Hit Parade continues . . . Sharon's most recent CD reached no. 20 on the Top 30 Charts of HMV, a hip music store in Hong Kong. "In Your Eyes," a cut from All I Ever Want and her duet with Cantopop superstar Andy Lau, debuted at no. 8 on the charts of RTHK, Hong Kong's no. 1 radio
Speaking of Sharon:
"She hasn't lost her touch as a vocal performer. Sharon has talents that other artists don't have. Aside from having the voice, she has a good ear, may pulso, may intuition. She has magic. You cannot really explain the source of that magic, it's just that some people have it. She has charisma. It's not only because of the way she has 'directed' her life story. Let's face it, she is very intelligent. But when you say magic, it goes beyond intuition and intelligence. It's a gift." - Ryan Cayabyab Musical Director, The Mega Event
"She is an extremely warm spirit with a talent that is unique. In addition to a glorious voice and musical talent, she is one of the most generous collaborators around. She gives so much during a collaboration and she is willing to work together. As such, working with her is a joy. She is fun. She has a great voice and sense of musicality. But most of all, she is very professional with a tremendous ability to bring another level to my songs. Sharon is a colleague, a mom, and wife, but most of all, a cherished friend (who happens to be extremely talented)." - Jim Brickman Composer, "Where's the Good in Goodbye?"

Despite her countless triumphs in various fields of endeavor, music has always been her most enduring passion. She admits that the lure (and frenzy) of the concert stage has always been the most challenging and therefore the most rewarding.
"That's why when they decided to call this The Mega Event, I became nervous," Sharon confesses. "My stomach is turning just thinking and talking about it. Especially because the lineup is twice as hard a my usual repertoire."
To think that this is the same headliner who filled the 12,000 strong Hong Kong Coliseum to the rafters, breaking the house record last May 12, 2002. (The Hong Kong Coliseum, in fact, presented Sharon with a certificate honoring her precedent setting achievement.)
Exciting and exhilarating, the Megastar's musical journey continues, crossing borders and going International!
