"IKLI SA KILI"
Yes!, April 2002
Judy Ann Santos, a board director at the Lyrics and Sheets Foundation, has been taking her socio-civic role as seriously as her acting. In the midst of a terrible schedule, she managed to spearhead a fund-raising event for the resident patients of the Cuyo District Hospital in Palawan.
The event, a filmshowing dubbed as "Ikli sa Kili," was held February 16 at the Cafe Kilimanjaro in Timog. It featured three short films by Palanca awardee Chris Martinez: Bakas, Kilapsaw, and Goodbye, Kitty.
Aside from ticket sales, Juday gathered money pledges that she followed up personally in the days that followed.
Way to go!
An excerpt of Sharon's text message which Mommy Carol lovingly saved in her inbox reads: " Ma, thanks for inviting me. It sure made my night more meaningful. I should be ore proud of Juday. I'm glad I've known her and her family."
