Other guests included Edu Manzano, Cherie Gil, Jaya and Side A, but most of the people invited to the birthday bash were Sharon and Kiko Pangilinanís relatives. After they did their song, Gary and Martin hosted portions of the show in an engaging manner. They do work well together. Edu also did his share of hosting, reminding everyone how good he is at this sort of thing. Why doesnít some channel give him a new talk-variety show? He can talk circles around many of the hosts we have on the tube today. The highlight of the evening was the "unveiling" of Sharon and Kikoís new baby, Frankie, who was carried in by her doting ate, KC (who by the way is looking practically grown-up these days). The baby is big for her tender age, prompting Edu to crack that the weeks-old infant could actually be three years old! Both Sharon and Kiko think the world of her, as well they should, because they had to put up with so much before they were finally gifted with her. Fine, we understand, but donít spoil her rotten, okay? Sharon intimated that sheís pretty much concentrating on Frankie and her TV show these days, but sheíll soon be going on a diet so she will look good when she shoots her new film starting this May. She should also lose more weight when she starts campaigning soon for Kiko, whoís running for senator in this yearís elections. People admire Kiko for his own abilities, but letís face it, when youíre running for a national post like senator, having Sharon Cuneta for your wife sure does help.
