SHARONíS DOUBLE CELEBRATION
by Mons Romulo-Tantoco, The Philippine Star, February 17, 2001

Barely a month after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl nicknamed "Frankie," Sharon Cuneta looked very radiant as she celebrated not only her birthday but also the first episode of The Sharon Cuneta Show with her family and special friends in her Wack Wack residence. Executive producer Bec and talented director Rowell Santiago thought of making the megastarís very first episode for the year 2001 special by inviting to her show her close friends and relatives as well as her special friends in the industry. There to greet her were Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano who were her co-hosts together with Edu Manzano. The megastar noted: "My birthday celebration will never be complete without my favorite, Side A Band (a special request of Sharon every year), my good friends, kumare Cherie Gil and Jaya (who also performed special song numbers for the megastar)."

Also part of the party and the show were newlyweds Agot and Manu Sandejas, Amy Perez, my favorite TV host Boy Abunda, Frankieís godparents Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano and Fanny Serrano (who did Sharonís hair and makeup that night).

The staff of Sharonís show also made sure that part of the audience would be people dear to her. Aside from husband Kiko Pangilinan and daughter KC Concepcion, present were some of Frankieís ninangs and ninongs namely Sharonís Kuya Chet Cuneta, Philip Cuazon Jr., Ram Antonio, the very charming dentist Vicky Pangilinan, Olive Isidro, Philippine STARís Baby Gil, Sandy Santamaria, Maricar Ong and Sari-Sari Pambahayís Marni Ocampo (who provided the furniture pieces for the set).

Of course, the night was only complete when Kiko, Sharon and KC proudly introduced to us the newest member of their family Frankie ñ who I assure you is as beautiful as her sister KC and looks very much like her mom! Frankie is one living proof of Godís miracles and that in Godís time, He indeed answers all our prayers.
