20TH ANNIVERSARY IN SHOWBUSINESS

Nobody can beat Sharon Cuneta, at least in the fields where she's at ease. It will be recalled that Sharon initially gained fame as a recording star when she was only 12, with such songs as "Mr. DJ," "Santo NiÒo," and "High School Days." She became a movie star at 15 in 1981 with the movie, Dear Heart.

Twenty years after scoring a big hit through the song "Mr. DJ", Sharon has moved on to become local showbiz's Megastar.

Ask her how she maintains that power in her field and she'll say it's hard work and dedication. Success was not served to her on a silver platter despite her well-known background. Sharon works like any other star when she has movies, recordings, tapings and live shows.

	A Place Called Home   Aired July 5, 1998, Sharon talks about her proudest achievements, the friendships she has nurtured, and the family that has kept her rooted. She shares moments in her life that have made her stumble and humble - about learning something new and things she has always known, about endings and beginnings.
	Sharon At 20   As a fitting tribute to her 20 years in the industry, Viva Records released a special album, "Sharon At 20, The Greatest Hits," featuring 18 memorable songs we've learned to love through the years. The album is now available in CDs and double casettes.
	VideoCDs   Copies of Sharon's VideoCD, "Sharon Cuneta Festival of Hits" which include Kahit Konting Pagtingin and Ngayon at Kailanman, and the "Viva OPM All Hits" VideoCD featuring Sharon's Ikaw are also available.
Videoke   "Sing with the Megastar" Volumes 1 - 3 Videoke in VHS format are now available
Video Cassettes   In addition to this, Viva Video has also released a retrospective of her favorite movies including such memorable dramas directed by the late Lino Brocka: Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig, Biktima, and Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita.
